1 　One Christmas morning, a beautiful velveteen rabbit was put in a little boy's stocking. It was a gorgeous brown and had shiny black eyes with a pink satin nose.

　　一个圣诞节的早晨，一只美丽的绒毛兔被放进了一个小男孩的长统袜里。它长得非常漂亮，有着漂亮的褐色绒毛，明亮的黑眼睛和粉红的缎子一般光滑的鼻子。　

2 　When the little boy got up, he saw the rabbit. But he didn’t like it, because the rabbit was not a real one.

　　小男孩起床时看见了这只绒毛兔，但是他并不喜欢它，因为他觉得它虽然漂亮，但不是真的。　

3 　So he put the rabbitinto the dollhouse at once.

　　所以他很快就将绒毛兔被放进了玩具室。　　

4 　In the dollhouse, the rabbit was mocked by the other toys. They said,“Look! There is an artificial rabbit. It can neither run nor jump. How funny it is!”

　　在那里，绒毛兔遭到了其他玩具的嘲笑。他们说：“你们看呀，是只假兔子，不能跑也不能跳，真是好笑。”

5 　The rabbit didn’t understand what“REAL”meant, so it went to ask its old uncle Transformer with one leg,“What is REAL?”

　　绒毛兔不知道“真的”是什么意思，就去问上了年纪缺了条腿的“变形金刚”叔叔:“‘真的’是什么意思呀？”
