　　It’s twelve o’clock. A man goes into a restaurant. A

　　waiter comes up to him and gives him the menu(菜单). The man wants the dear(昂贵的) dishes.  At one o’clock, a boy comes in and sits beside the man. “What do you want?” the waiter asks. “Just an ice-cream。” The man eats a lot. Then he stands up and says, “I want to buy a newspaper。” The man goes out and crosses the road. The waiter gives the ice-cream to the boy. The boy eats it and goes out. The waiter says, “Excuse me, your father hasn’t paid for his meal (没付饭钱)and your ice-cream。”

　　50 Dollars in the Grass

　　Mr. Brown comes to the park for a walk. Suddenly(突然)he sees a fifty-dollar note on the grass beside him. He wants to have the money. He does not look at the sign(告示) in the grass. Then he jumps into and pick up the note quickly. The park-keeper runs to Mr. Brown.  Mr. Brown shouts, “It’s my money。” 

　　But the park-keeper says, “Look at the sign: Don’t walk on the grass. 50 dollars penalty(罚款)。”
